Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour Dawn V2

Another shot from my trip to Sydney last weekend. This one was taken just before sunrise from the banks of Kirribilli on the north side of Sydney Harbour. There wasn’t much in the way of cloud cover to create more interesting light but I don’t think it is possible to take bad shot of the harbour, it is just that beautiful.

  5. superb photo michael! so crisp & un-interrupted

i was at the camera store on saturday & made a purchase of the 10-24mm
i had a chat with them there about the prime lens & im going to go with the 35mm, they also explained the 50mm being too long for the d90

    • Thanks Chloe, just after I shot this two massive cruise ships came in so I was lucky.

Congratulations on your purchase I am sure you will love it. I use the Sigma 10-20mm and the focal length is great for getting that ultra wide angle. I am still tossing up between getting the 35mm prime or biting the bullet and just getting the 17-35mm f2.8. Look forward to seeing some shots with the 10-24mm.
