Nanima Road

One of the best thing’s about being married to a foodie is that you get to go to a lot of nice places to eat. My wife loves nothing better than trying out new places to eat and I am always happy to oblige.

On Sunday just gone we went out to Poachers Pantry a well known and popular establishment just past Hall outside the Canberra border. It was the first I had been back since we got married there a year and a half ago and I had forgotten how great the food is. If you you in the area and after a great meal and some good wine then check this place out.

Whilst eating a storm came over head briefly and on the drive home I noticed that the clouds were quite spectacular. I stopped the car to set up a composition to take advantage of the scene but wasn’t quite quick enough to catch the amazing cloud formation before it turned to solid rain cloud. I still like the image captured but it would have been nicer to get the shot before the clouds dissappeared, goes to show how quickly things change in photography.
