Hot hot hot!

Smoke Cloud - Brindabellas, Canberra

It has been very hot and dry in Canberra this week just like everywhere else in Aus at the moment. Luckily the good rain that we had the previous week has managed to keep things relatively green (for summer anyway).

Last night I noticed a bit of cloud cover coming over just before sunset so I thought I would head out to see if i could get some shots. Turns out that the cloud cover was joined by smoke clouds moving in from the south. I am still not sure whether it was a bushfire or not but there was definitely the smell of smoke in the air. Anyhow it made for one of the better sunsets this summer.
